Staff at this hotel are extremely rude and unhelpful. My fiance and I stayed here for 7 nights in May 2008 and during our stay we were without water for 9 and a half hours from 1pm - 10.30pm on the saturday of our stay. There is a sign saying that if youre not happy with your stay you dont have to pay. I advised that I was happy to pay for the 6 nights which were fine but not for the saturday. I was told I would have to speak to the manager. I asked 5 times during the day for him and he was in the building but not available. In the end my fiance was instructed to go find him in his office in the hotel basement. The manager was extremely rude considering we had to run around looking for him with our complaint and he would not refund the night but instead gave us $30 off which was more of an insult than anything else. Also when I received the bill there were 3 additional fees and taxes PER DAY which when I asked the receptionist what they were for she told me the fee was for the keys to my room!!! I emailed La Quinta as instructed by the hotel manager if I wasnt happy and although they stated they would reply within 3 days .. 2 weeks on I havent heard back from them. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
