My wife and I stayed here in June when we were traveling. The room was new and clean. The staff was plesant and breakfast was good with a great view. The pool area was excellent but we didn't use it since we didn't bring bathing suites with us.
I have stayed at different LaQuinta Inns. This hotel needs to be updated in the lobby and room. Regardless of that, I did sleep well and had plenty to eat from the breakfast buffet. I don't know if I would stay here again. I did get what I paid

We were passing through Wichita and this was the only hotel with a room available, and after staying there I can see why they still had a room. We were charged and told that our room would have two king beds in a suite. When we entered the room it had two double beds and was not a suite. We asked at the front desk and we're told we could call the manager in the morning. The room was dirty and smelled. There were no towels, no trash can, no hair dryer, no coffee maker, no tv remote, and the curtains were cut so as to not cover the a/c unit. We asked for towels and they gave us some but another guest asked for towels and was told there were no more. The breakfast was terrible. The juice dispenser was only dispensing water, and there was a box of Little Debbie snack cakes on the counter. Overall it was an awful experience and I would never recommed anyone stay there.
This is by far the worst place I have

42 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
We were on a business trip with our family and the hotel we had reservations at had to move us and suggested Garden Inn and Suites. Not only was the place dirty, but we had an item of jewelry stolen. When we complained we were told it was our word against theirs. Then the next day they did not clean our room and would not give us clean towels. Upon leaving the hotel, we attempted to complain to the parent company and even contacted the Better Business Bureau. The Parent Company stated that they did not care that we had a poor stay and would not apologize or pay us back for our stay or our stolen items. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

The night of 3/2/08 was the worse hotel we stayed in for many years. It was a stormy night, and we didn't want to go out and find another one. Hot water OK and bed was OK, but only two dingy looking towels & and one hand towel, no napkins, no water glasses, no coffee pot, missing light bulbs in fixtures, dirty floors and carpet, smelly room, no micro wave or other conveniences, broken control on heater (could not shut off), swimming pool closed, old TV out of focus, broken latch on window, no coat hangers.
Door entrances to building not secured -- they were propped open with a rocks.
They claimed the place is being renovated but I didn't see any work in progress.
This had to be the worst place I have
