Here is the review of the place I sent to LQ Management...
I would like to take this chance to explain why I have just experienced the worst stay at a La Quinta ever.
First, I am unsure why La Quinta decided to have two different hotels right next to each other, but it is a little troubling that I make reservations based on the online view of one hotel and end up in the second, lower quality, version of a La Quinta for three nights.
Then, when I walk into the bathroom and see the tub with stray hairs in it, I become quite disgusted with my room. No need to ask for another room as the associate I am staying here with has a different room with the same results. There was no maid service the first day either. Not sure why, but I came back to the same room I left in the morning. Minus the hair in the shower that I cleaned out myself in order to use it, of course.
On top of all this, the hotel is under construction, or "renovations" as they called it, by the most unprofessional men I have ever run across. No manners, do not make any attempt to give room to you while walking down the hallway (I had to crawl against the wall to not walk into them), and are quite unclean themselves--not hygienically, but in their work. I even witnessed them play with the only elevator for five minutes, jumping on and off, repeatedly pressing the open button, and placing their hands in the door to open it back up. My associate had to walk down the stairs from the fourth floor because she thought the elevator was broken. This all happened in the lobby right in front of the front desk, another guest checking in, and myself waiting in the lobby--if that is what is is supposed to be called, two chairs and a space.
I am not one to normally complain, however this was horrendous, and I believe your management needs to be aware of what the guest at the 13651 NW 2nd St., Sunrise, FL 33325, La Quinta Inn are dealing with. I have stayed at terrible places before, including a Motel 6, and I have to say, this was the worst I have ever seen.
I would really like to hear back from your company to know that my message went through, you care about what the customers are experiencing, and you have taken actions to correct it.
When i stayed at this Hotel it was a couple years ago when it was called Baymont Inn. They had continental breakfast, a nice little work-out room, a clean and non crowded pool, and a comfortable and clean room. Someone was down stairs at all times...
