La Quinta Inn and Suites Somerville Hotel

I arrived late in the evening and I was very glad to find a hotel outside of the city. The staff was pleasant. The room was large with a nice big table with free internet service hookup. The restaurants and stores nearby are a huge plus. The shuttle to/from the T is great, although it did take a lot longer than expected to be picked up. The pool was unaccessable, which was disappointing, because it was a very hot day and I really wanted to take a dip.

Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Gave us directions to where we needed to go. Rooms were clean and tidy. The shuttle picking us up from the airport was very convenient. Saved us like $50.00. Area was good, shopping center right next door.

Hotel was dirty, pickup van took forever. Staff was pleasant but inexperienced and not very professional. Would not give this hotel more than 1 1/2 stars.

I recently stayed at the LaQuinta during a weekend trip to Boston with my two young children and it was one of the worst hotel experiences ever. When we first walked into the elevator, there was a broken vodka bottle on floor. It was quite a first impression and it got worse from there. The rooms were far from clean and the hallways reeked of smoke. To top things off, my children and I were awaken at 3:30 AM by two beligerent drunk girls fighting in the hallway. I was completely appalled. Never again will I stay at this hotel.
