La Quinta Inn and Suites Panama City Hotel

I use the La Quinta hotels for their pet friendly policy. The last visit was for business. The room and the staff overall were good but I had a problem reaching the desk due to the front desk being understaffed. I was upset because of their mid week bump in the price for the room. I did not expect that and I had not experienced that in all the times I stayed at the La Quinta hotel.

It is very clean, very comfortable, and pet friendly. We are now profiled for a ground floor room. It makes walking the dog so much easier. There is no extra charge for pets. The continental breakfast was a plus.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They have very nice bedding. The bathroom was spacious. The towels were better than average.

The room we were given at check-in was still very dirty. We were upgraded by the staff to a suite, which made us very happy.

It is located next to the mall and plenty of nice restaurants. Our room was filthy. There was hair on the bedding, we found dead insects on the floor and the air conditioning system was full of mold and dust. The bed was itchy. It was not a good experience.
