We stayed at LaQuinta in a suite for 6 days in March of 2007 - When we came back to the area again in March of 2008 and another couple travelled with us, since we had a good experience in 2007 we decided to stay at LaQuinta again, reserving 2 suites (reservations made on 11-09-07 and confirmed on 03-01-08) What a mistake! When we arrived on 03-01 one of the suites had been booked for that night - we were offered a single room and after much hassle, LaQuinta did not charge us for that room. The suite was available on 03-02 but that involved moving - another hassle! The elevator to the rear parking area rarely worked and there were several times that our rooms were not cleaned each day, bed made and clean towels put out. We also heard similar complaints from other guests we spoke with.
Between March of 2007 and March of 2008 the hotel became dingy - - The carpet in the single room was dirty - hem falling from the sheer curtain in the suite - pull rod for drapes in the bedroom on the floor, patches on doors, etc. Possibly this hotel is under new management but no return visits from us in the future.
