30 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The service people at La Quinta Inn & Suites were very helpful and hospitable. The location was very close to the mall, airport, and science museum. The only thing I did not like is;they would not give me the military discount. I have a husband in the armed forces and he and I have military IDs. They told me they could not give me my discount because they were full. I think it should not matter how full the hotel is, if you are military they should give you the proper discount no matter what. Do senior citizens not get their discount too when it is full??

Got a good package deal with a rental car, so the price was right. Wireless was great. Breakfast was free and great if you want juice and a muffin. The Mexican place next door, Chico's, is really good - and fast. Check it out. Road construction nearby makes getting back a little tricky. Lubbock seems to be all about road construction. Minor problem with phone, so I was moved to another room. A minor inconvenience.
I stayed an entire week. It was better than some of the top hotels I've stayed in.
