31 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
First, we were given the wrong room twice. We didn't try to get it changed after the second time even though it was wrong. There were gnats all over the hotel, including the room. The place smelled of mildew and mold. The ice machine on my floor was broken. I took the stairs all the time, not for exercise even though I could use it, but because the elevators were so slow it wasn't worth waiting for. I have never been in a worse hotel in my life!

to return to the La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston Baytown East.

Budget hotel experience, but not super cheap rates

Mediocre
In comparison to the other hotel options in Baytown, the La Quinta probably isn't bad. The room was clean, but it smelled like smoke despite being designated "smoke free". The air conditioning was very loud and the TV remote was broken....
