54 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I have stayed at this hotel many times while visiting my daughter at college in Charleston. The rooms are very nice and clean with comfy beds and modern amenities; the breakfast is always good and fresh; there is plenty of parking and I feel safe there. This is a great, affordable place to stay if you don't mind being 5 minutes from downtown Charleston!
I am very likely
to return to the La Quinta Inn & Suites Charleston Riverview.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

This place was not the greatest especially for the money it cost. It was by the marina, but our room had a wonderful view of the highway on the other side of the building. The whirlpool did not look the cleanest so my wife had no desire to use it. Wireless Internet was not working. The excuse was due to the rain. Even the next day when it was clear, it did not work. I called the support number and still was unable to find the siganl. Was not fixed by the time of my checkout. Plan to make future trips to the Charleston area but will not stay in this hotel.

I was worried after reading the reviews, so we checked this out in person before booking, and we were pleasantly surprised! We were attending a wedding and needed a room close to downtown at a half-decent rate, and this worked out great for us. ...
