La Quinta Inn and Suites Albuquerque Hotel

I could not get the wireless internet working in the room. The night clerk had a spare ethernet cable in the desk she let me borrow. I went to the Shell station in front of the hotel. I did not like the two winos hanging out in the parking lot. That may deter me from staying at this location again. The office setup in the room was nice.

This hotel made me feel content: The room was comfortable. The desk made it easy to get work done.

This has to be one of the most over-rated hotels ever. Being there for almost a week was not good, but being as it was business we had to tough it out. We were given the wrong room (should have been a suite), no timely effort to correct it, nor an apology. The desk staff was great, but the management left much to be desired. In fact, we recommended that he be fired! Oh, yeah, the cockroaches in the ground level room were the bonus.

I've stayed at La Quinta before this recent time and was satisfied with the price and the accommodations.
