For a budget hotel, it had everything: clean room, very friendly staff, clean and heated pool and jacuzzi, continental breakfast well stocked with fruit, juices, toast, pastries, milk and cereal. Be warned, parking is now $8, and they charge you $1 for the safe, whether you use it or not. It's in the Old Town District, where apparently parking is a premium. I lamented the fee, and they waived it because it was just instituted the day before (May 1). 2 minute walk to Old Town and a 5 minute drive to Sea World. I would definitely stay there again (I'm a family of 4), next time we go to San Diego.
