My husband and I enjoyed a great stay there. Clean, courteous staff and great with pets. Will definitely keep this one in mind when we visit again. Don't be afraid to try this one.

The place is clean and nice. It would be great if the staff spoke more english. Getting more towels was a game of charades. But all in all a nice place. However, the owner/manager, not sure what he was other than the one in charge, was just awful. He was rude and almost yelled at a guest as I was passing the desk. Not sure what the problem was but I appalled at his actions with a guest and there was a small child in the area also. This is no way to get people to come back to the motel.

I arrived at the Pigeon Forge location on Thursday November 27, 2007 at approximately 1130 pm. I was greeted at the front desk by the assistant manager and the receptionist. I gave them the reservation name which was under my parents name and the first question the receptionist asked me was did we have a dog. I told her yes I did. The assistant manager then proceeds to tell me that we can not stay at the hotel. Mind you my parents and brother were already at the hotel, my two year old daughter was running a 102 degree fever. The hotels in Pigeon Forge ALL of them were booked up. It took us over 45 minutes to find a hotel that would allow us to stay with the dog. I will never return to a la quinta inn after the experience that I had. The manager was extremely rude and threatened me with the police. We left the property and stayed at a ramamda in down the street. My family was still at the La quinta inn and we returned back to the hotel to their room. After being in the room for almost an hour the property manager came to my parents room and ordered us to leave the property an he contacted the police. This hotel is listed as a pet friendly hotel I confirmed that at the 1-800 number and told the assistant that answered that we had a dog and would be arriving on the 27th of December she told me that was fine there would be a ten dollar non refundable deposit and to tell them at check in. The assistant manager lied to us and stated we could not stay in the hotel that the health department would close their doors. I contacted the local heath department. Joe told me that the manager lied to me and that was inaccurate. Again, I will never stay at another La Quinta Inn again for the inconvenience that this hotel caused me and my family. This manager after ordering us to leave forced my mother and father to leave as well. I will be disputing the charges on our credit cards I will also be filing a complaint with the tourism department in Pigeon Forge as well as the Better Business bureau in the area. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. MR. PATEL claims to be the owner of this hotel. This is the worst hotel in the area. Stay away at all costs!

We stayed in this hotel last week and I must say our experience was a bad one!! Bugs in our room, no help from management! DOGS BARKING ALL NIGHT! When we called receptionist she would not help! WE left the hotel after one night (we had reservations for a week). Went to Comfort INN much better hotel!!

My wife and I had the worst possible experience at this hotel that we have ever had. The management is rude! Rooms dirty, toilet broken, bed linens stained as well as we saw bugs on the floors dying. Food in breakfast area tasted horrible and the lobby was in disarray. Stay away! We requested assistance and they refused. Horrible, Horrible experience.

This hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my years of travel. The kicked my family out over a dog and the hotel is pet friendly. Do not stay here.The manger is rude uses obscene language. He also uses threats to harm others!
