La Quinta Inn Paramus Hotel

The hotel was under renovation which I am certain affected my review. However, this was not mentioned when reservations were made.

The parking lot looked like a junk yard, full of old mattresses, gigantic dumpster and hotel furniture. Most of the amenities listed were under construction or not working. (i.e. pool, television).

I would never stay here again nor would I recommend it to an enemy.

The pool was closed, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel made me feel secure: I felt secure there because the indoor room entry outside doors locked at all times.

When I called the hotel for directions, the receptionist was not clear or friendly regarding exactly where the hotel was located. Also, when we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait for half an our because our room was not ready and we could not check in.
