70 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The desk clerk seemed confused and could not find my reservation information. The room was dirty, the bed linen looked soiled, the bathroom was dirty, there was mold in the shower, mold around the toilet, the lavatory was unclean, the bath and the other bathroom supplies were insufficient. The room walls were scarred with marks and two light bulbs were burnt out. This experience was very disappointing and far below the standards I have come to know with the La Quinta hotels, making me wonder if I want to use this hotel chain again.
I am somewhat likely

I requested a downstairs room (no elevator) and was told that none were available. The room right below us was vacant when we arrived and stayed vacant the entire time. I think the hotel could have done more to be more accomodating.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient to I-10 and major shopping areas. I highly recommend staying here because it is not in the crowded areas and it has quick access to downtown New Orleans.

It was late night and the reservations clerk was pleasant. It is located right off highway, so it’s easy to get to for anyone. I have stayed there before and would recommend the La Quinta.
