La Quinta Inn New Orleans Airport Hotel - Page 1

I have not stayed in a La Quinta hotel in a year. I stayed at this one because my client wanted to. The hotel was ok. The front desk attendant was almost combative after dealing with the previous customer.

It was very friendly. It would have been helpful if the staff had available up to date info on public transportation. It had a nice little bar with good food available.

My colleague and I stayed, when there was a lot of damage from Hurricane Katrina still evident. We had made plans to visit the gym and maybe the pool, but as time did not allow we were unable to do so. Everything in our room was new, but the service and the attention to detail were well beyond or expectations.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The staff was exceptionally friendly. The first thing they asked about both at check in and in the morning was our flight information. They made every effort to ensure that we had no problems with our trip.

The hotel was good quality for the price.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: They answered all the questions and they gave the needed directions quickly.

The location was great. It’s a bit pricey, but I guess that is what to expect after Katrina. It’s a nice hotel.
