Reasonable hotel in downtown Monterey. This hotel is located in downtown Monterey, within a few miles of most of the major attractions like Monterey Bay Aquarium and Fisherman's Wharf. The room quality was acceptable (clean & comfy) for the price, and the continental breakfast provided each morning was basic, but convenient. Not a bad choice for low-budget travelers, whether as a couple or a group.

Stayed during 2007 Labor day weekend with family. Location off HWY 1 was convenient for me. Place seems to have been renovated recently, seemed new and clean. Little interaction that I had with staff was friendly. Would recommend it and I wouldn't hesitate going back.
