WOW! These guys have done an amazing job with their rooms - new memory foam beds, in room lap top safes, brand new furniture, flat screen TVS. And free b'fast and free long distance as well - this is just amazing - recession is not bad for everything!
What a great find - fabulous location, recently updated rooms with memory foam beds, in room safes, cordless phones, flat screen TVs, (although the pictures don't show this - they should do something about this) and free continental b'fast and even free calls and wireless - absolutely everything a traveller needs at a little less than most Manhattan hotels - I could not believe it!

Location was in Korea town, very close to Macys and just a few blocks from Times Square. Hotel and room were clean. Everyone very friendly. Elevators a little slow, but free breakfast, bagels, fruit, ceral, donuts, juice, coffee were great. Our toilet stopped working 2nd night, called down, sent someone up right away, couldnt fix it and moved us to another room right away. Very professional. Parked our car right down the street for $30.00 a day. Subway right around the corner. Very pleased with everything. Price was awesome when we went, $146 for 2 doubles. I would recommend to stay here. We were very pleased. We are going back in a few months and plan to stay here again.

Okay
pros: good everythingI stayed at La Quinta because it was the cheapest I could find. The staff was courteous, numerous, and responsive, but the room was a closet. For the price, it was a decent place to stay and in a convenient location.
It looked amazing and check in was easy.

Okay
It looked amazing and check in was easy. Our room had a view of the empire state building. We soon changed our room as the safety deposit box was broke. The bed was big and comfy, the only problem we had was the aircondition unit which was mega...

Nice mid-range hotel in central location. Rooms are clean and comfortable and internet is free. Lobby is modern and appears to have been renovated in the last few years. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is not stiff at all - would be good

Pros: Within walking distance to any train you might want to get on - convenient location. The price was good for Manhattan, especially last minute. Luggage storage was great for being on the go before/ after check-in & check-out, although it takes a minute to get the bellman's attention. Roof-top bar is slightly cheesy but a great place to unwind and regroup before your next adventure out. Room was small (but, hey, it's New York - and cheap) but in decent condition and I was only there to sleep which it did fine for.
Cons: Front desk - I've had nicer & more courteous in other hotels. The room in general didn't have as many (or any, really) amenities as other hotels I've stayed in, but the last minute price made up for it.
