Can't say this is a really bad hotel but given the $89 rate I think a bit pricey for the quality of rooms even with the new "renovation." The so called newly renovated rooms is not so nice. Quality of workmanship is poor and this is not a total renovation. On the plus side, rooms and grounds are kept clean. Staff is very friendly which may get me back but I will try a few other pet friendly hotels first.

I BOOKED THIS HOTEL ONLINE 2 WEEKS INADVANCE.THE LADY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THEY WOULD NOT CHARGE ME UNTILL I CHECKED OUT ON FRIDAY. WHEN I ARRIVED THE PERSON AT THE DESK INSISTED ON TAKING MY CHARGE CARD NOW AND CHARGING THE ROOMS. THIS WAS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD BY A REP OF THEIRS AND I DON'T THINK THIS WAS RIGHT. HER MANNERS WERE VERY RUDE AND SHE DIDN'T CARE WHAT WAS TOLD TO ME. ALSO ANOTHER PERSON SAID THAT THEIR AIR DIDNOT WORK, SHE SAID SHE ALREADY CALLED MAINT. AND THAT SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO STAY ON THE PHONE FOR HIM ALL NIGHT.

I was very satisfied. We stayed there any time we went to Columbia. They have excellent complimentary breakfast.

The hotel was a little too far from the interstate.

It is a beautiful well kept hotel with very nice furnishings, a nice library, lovely pool setting and walking trails.

Their manager would not honor the La Quinta guarantee! Doors were slammed at 3 am and their beds are like rocks! It was just terrible. Don’t stay here, anywhere else is better!

It was excellent. My airline miles and points were both awarded.
