WHEN I STAYED HERE IN SEPTEMBER I WAS SCARED TO DEATH AND I AM FEARLESS. THE CARPET WAS FILTHY. THE TOILET WAS DIRTY, THE REFRIGERATOR DID NOT WORK, THE BANANAS WERE ROTTEN IN THE MORNING. I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED, BUT I PAID CASH FOR THE STAY AND I KNEW THEY WOULDN'T GIVE IT BACK TO ME. THE MANAGER IS RUDE TO YOU UNLESS YOU ARE OF HER RACE. THE GIRL IN THE AFTERNOON IS A SWEETHEART AND WHY SHE STIL WORKS THERE IS BEYOND ME.
IF YOU WANT A CLEAN BED AND A PLACE TO FEEL SAFE SO YOU CAN MAYBE GET SOME SLEEP......... STAY ELSEWHERE.

Due to recent construction, my GPS had some difficulty locating this hotel. It was as advertized; a cheap, overnight stay with clean sheets although if you looked under the bed, you might wonder how clean it really was! The staff was somewhat disinterested in doing anything other than the basics and seem pertubed when we asked them for a washcloth. Seems they were running short that day. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing with waffle mix running down the counter and not a great variety of items to choose from.
It was quiet and the internet did work in the rather large room so as an overnight while on the road, it met our needs. Looks like a fixer upper that needs lots of fixing.
I remember staying at this place when they first opened it many years ago. Friendly staff. I had some problems connecting to the net, but was given a number to call tech support, and i was on my way. I have stay here a couple of times in the last...

Okay
We were put in a room where it was obviously not ready for guests (bugs on the floor, bleach in the tub). They moved us when we complained but the hotel itself was nothing special. I don't think I will ever stay at a La Quinta again.
