The hotel obviously needs upgrading because the carpet and wallpaper in the hallways looked very worn and outdated. The bathroom shower/tub area totally needs new fixtures, looks like it hasn't been changed since the hotel was built. The bathroom also had a few hairs on the floor. But the staff was very nice.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The bed was very nice and comfortable and I enjoyed the variety of channels on the TV. Also, there was free wireless access -- I greatly enjoyed that along with a nice desk and businesslike chair.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in the process of undergoing a new management change; the bathroom lighting was poor; the exercise equipment needed repair; the indoor pool was small. But it's an excellent value for the price and I will stay there again.

The lighting in the bathroom is very slow to come on completely. I realize this could be an energy saver, but it could also be very dangerous.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The person at check in aws wonderful. Great personality, great smile and laugh. She provided the little extras that we needed with a smile as if it pleased her to help.
