My husband and I attended a family wedding in Baton Rouge. We Stayed at the LaQuinta Inn BR University Area. We were extremely happy with the room. It was the summertime, the room was nice and cool and extra clean. Check in and out were very pleasant experiences - the desk was very professional and friendly - no other customers around, she had an actual conversation - talk, listen. Not the usual - thank you but someone who was not just well dressed, but who was polite and well spoken. A pleasure.

The room itself was not clean. There was mold on the shower curtain, the towels were not clean, and it was somewhat loud. I do not recommend this hotel unless you're in a pinch.

Easy on and off I-10, and several restaurants within walking distance, and a gas station as well. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. No problem accepting our dogs, either.

The service is reliable. The staff was helpful even when we arrived late. Even when we had to change the reservation date at the last minute. The rooms are clean and we've never had any problems. We will likely stay there again next time.
It's a very quiet, well-run hotel. We just felt comfortable there.
