La Quinta Inn Amarillo West Medical Center Hotel

Because it is a pet friendly hotel, I believe the management fail to check the tick infestation in June 2006. Me and my husband woke up with tick bites. I trusted that they would check the rooms well, Check your bed skirt they are hanging on to it in chains... it is hair raising site.

I was there for a medical surgery stay. They gave us a room on the uppermost floor with the most distant exterior walk from the elevator. The medical-necessity room pricing was provided as agreed with the reservation. We had to search floors and corridors for working ice machines and working drink dispensing machines. In one non-working machine room the overflowing trash smelled like a dead animal.

It had clean rooms and grounds. The staff was reasonably friendly. The grounds were not perfectly maintained, but neither did they feel unsafe.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: La Quinta is a practical and clean economy hotel. I was there for one night on a drive across country, and the room was clean and safe, which were my requirements.

The hotel had good prices, a good location and a friendly, helpful reservation clerk. I disliked the dirty bathroom, with no towels.

I love this place. It has a very helpful staff. It couldn't have been better!

This hotel made me feel relaxed: Even when there where other people in the other rooms around us. It was very quiet and peaceful.
