La Quinta Inn Albuquerque I-40 East Motel

We often stay at La Quinta and have enjoyed many nice stays however, this one in Albuquerque was without a doubt the worst!! It was so bad that I had my husband take photos of the mold and mildew along the bathroom wall and shower curtain. I e-mailed the executives at La Quinta with the info & photos and received a "oh well, your case is closed" response. Think twice about staying at this place - we will NEVER go there again.

The bathroom was not cleaned well at all.

When people attempted to call me on the room phone, the voice mail service automatically picked up the calls. When I called the desk to complain about this, the woman at the desk told me that I had to deactivate the voice mail. I told her that the menu on the phone did not have this option available. I made her call her manager, and as it turns out, the hotel desk was responsible for activating and deactivating the voice mail system in each room. It took 2 days to straighten this out.

The traffic is quite audible within the rooms.

Of all the LaQuinta Inn's I've stayed this is by far the worst for housekeeping!

The toilet had a mold ring around the water line for the 4 days we stayed, the house keeper did not vacuum as needed, the face tissues were not replaced.

Other wise, not bad for the price!

The room was nice and the staff was pleasant. They did not have a non smoking room available but the room did not smell of tobacco. The trash had not been emptied from the previous occupants. We would stay here again. It is conveniently located.

It was great! It could not have been better!

This hotel made me feel respected: I was treated with great respect.
