35 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
All due to the poor choice of location. It was an unfortunate experience that left a bad taste in our mouths.
My husband and I reserved a ballroom, several guest rooms and a couple of suites for our wedding. We traveled to NM from WY and we had our rooms booked for a few days prior to the wedding and a day afterward.
When we arrived, we asked for our suite. They told us that they didnt have the suite that we asked for and that it had been reassigned to another couple that was marrying the same weekend as we were. When I told them that we had a contract, she then replied, Then sue us. We were stuck. It was too late to do anything about it. The wedding was in a couple of days and we had guests that were already there.
We were also appalled at the disrepair in which the hotel was in. Our room was in shambles. Our guests that traveled all over the United States to see us marry were disappointed in the accommodations and the prices in which they paid for it. Their rooms were in terrible shape. Some guests told us that there was a crack in their tub and water leaked into their tub!
The hotel customer service was terrible. The A/C failed to work or did not work well enough to cool the ancient building that we were in! If we had been superstitious, we would have thought the whole ordeal was an omen! We do not recommend this location to anyone.
