This is a unique hotel in that it has retained its historical image and also forms an excellent 3* product in the centre of Riga. KM 05/07 One can entrance the building from two different streets and there is a courtyard in the middle. The hotel is split into four sections and is in fact made up of many buildings dating back to the middle ages. Wooden beams are prominent throughout this pretty historical property. The hotel is found in the centre of old Riga down a small side street. The location is perfect for discovering small picturesque buildings dating back many centuries.

stayed here in january 06 for 2 nights ```the hotel location is ideal .but i found the decor to be very drab and dull `not very inviting ?``maybe because it was january and the hotel was quiet but i thought the reception staff just did not care...

I really liked the attitude of the two blond girls in the lobby. They helped mee with my small and big problems...for ex phoncard, tips about antiq. stores etc. Just sad that I could´n stay for more days.
Find yourself in the middle of Riga - close to everything - even a drug store and McDonald's. The centre of Riga leaves you with a sort of comfort like coming home after a number of years abroad. Still Riga's got app. 800,000 inhabitants - but not...
