Kona Village Resort

When we got to the resort, they told us our party was already checked in and was in our room. We asked how that was possible since we had just got off the airplane. Whoever checked in had all four of our names, the date and time, and the room number. The only reason we got to stay was because they had a vacancy. They did not chase the freeloaders out, either, they got to stay all week for free.

Romantic, relaxing, luxurious. This was the MOST romantic resort! The bungalows are private and include everything you need. Meals were included and they were incredible!!! If you didn't want to eat at the resort, they would give you a box lunch or vouchers for use elsewhere. We took advantage of the lunches, but never wanted to go to other restaurants. We were able to get a table right next to the beach and watch the sunset. I also really like the fact that 2 weeks a year are adults only. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. To be greated with a lei and a Mai Tai - wow! This was such a romantic resort. We can't wait to go back.
