Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel

I checked-in to the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I had pre-reserved a double non-smoking room. After my family and I received the key and entered the room it was plain to see that by the smell it was a smoking room. After three calls and finally speaking to the manager I was able to get a non-smoking room, although, all that remained available was a room with a king size bed. Needless to say that reserving a specific room type with the Knott's Hotel is useless. Also, the fact that I reserved a non-smoking room and was sent upstairs without warning of it being a smoking room is terrible customer service.

It was a great value for the money. I would recommend it.

The hotel was overall very acceptable. I think my biggest complaints would be lack of area discounts for other parks and activities and the room service phone personnel were a little rude.

It's in a great location, it's a quick walk to the park. At the end of the day you can stop by Mrs. Knott's Chicken restaurant and pickup a great family dinner on your way back to the hotel.

The hotel was very convenient, with a polite and knowledgeable staff and reasonable rates. The breakfast buffet could use a little variety.
