Knights Inn by the Beach Hotel - Page 1

The view was great, the only thing we didn't like is that we didn't have hot water when we showered, and thats enough reason for us to try to find another hotel to stay in when we do return

My husband and I took our three small children on vacation to Corpus. We got to the hotel room only to find there was not a handicap/wheelchair accessibility to the rooms. There was no way for me to access the room, but because we booked online and showed up, they would not refund the money to us. We are stuck paying for a full night's stay at a hotel that we didn't even make it to the room! I'd not recommend that to my worst enemy.

we checked in on a friday night around 11 pm and told the management we wanted to nights. they probably didnt hear us correctly considering the barely spoke english, but anyway, we left saturday morning around 11 am. we never checked out or returned our room key, we even left all of our stuff there. when we returned that evening around 5 pm we found that all of our stuff was gone and someone else was occuping the room. the horrible management assumed we just left and abandond all of our things. it was a terrible inconvenience. we asked for another room for free, they said no then we asked for our money back, after all they made the mistake, not us. they refused it too. horrible place STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We tolerated the broken furniture, the missing bathtub stopper, and the broken furniture because it is in a good location for a good price, but after killing 9 roaches in less than an hour we decided to check out a day early. Even worse, at 11 PM a family checked into the room next door and allowed their small children to run screaming up and down the walkway outside our room until 2:00 AM. The adults were talking loudly outside our door as well and kept honking their car horns in the parking lot just outside. I made 2 calls to the office to ask them to ask those guests to keep the noise down, and not only did they do nothing but they got cranky with me for calling. It's just not worth it even for the cost.

Balconies and stairways seem about to collapse.

Donuts, coffee, cereal & juice are "breakfast"

Sink did not have a stopper which made it a little tricky for contact lens wearers and sink could not be plugged for shaving etc.

Shower head dispersed about 20 drops of water per second.

Laundry room was full of water and in terrible condition. Washer and dryer did work.

Employees were very nice and polite.
