Knights Inn Yuma - Page 1

We came down here for my husband's work and we stopped at Knight's Inn because it was close to his jobs and it was inexpensive and looked comparable to the other hotels online. The reviews weren't bad either. But when we got inside it was disgusting! We immedietly removed the comforter,as we would anywhere else,and underneath was a blanket and paper thin sheet with black hair on it! The pillows had black hair as well! We went to the front desk and asked for the bed to be changed. The maid, who lives in the room that was next to ours, came over and asked to see the problem. I showed her the hair and she said that she would be back with A blanket and A pillowcase. She returns with just that and says "Don't worry, this is clean even though it has stains on it...". She puts that on top of the hairy one and then picks the hairs off of the pillows and puts one pillowcase on top of that one! Then she leaves. By the way, there are signs on every door that say "No Smoking" and she lives in the room that was next to us and smoked like a chimney, which drifted into our room. It was also very small and cold. There is only a small space heater. The toilet was about ready to fall apart, literally. When we flushed, it wobbled back and we thought the top was gonna fall off! The shower curtain didn't cover the shower either. The window in the bathroom didn't lock and there was a road right there and cars would go by late at night. The walls and door and windows were filthy and the chairs were stained. The walls were also very thin and we could hear both tvs on both sides of us and the man clearing his throat in the room on our left! Do not stay here. Spend $20 or more a night and pick another hotel. It was definetly a mistake we will not make again!
