Knights Inn South Bend Hotel - Page 1

Price and location is about all the Knights Inn has going for it.

If you are looking for a place to hang out and party a little after a night in SB. I place it one step up in price from Motel 6 and one step down from Ho Jo's (Which is the LAST RESORT)

During the non ND season you can usualy get a room for under $45.

If nothing else.. Its got a conveniet and friendly Belmont Liquor Store DIRECTLY adjacent, a Taco Bell across the street, a Gyro King and the Gippers Lounge with in reasonable walking distance to the north , "Cheers" and Pizza King not to far to the South. The rooms are worn out, sure its a little seedy. BUT thats what I was looking for. The staff can be difficult at times, so make sure that you are happy with your room BEFORE you lay any money down. But hey atleast its NOT the Howard Johnson.

IF you want to party and hang out, it's a good thing.. If you are expecting The Marriott, for under 50 bucks forget it.

They don't take care of customers, believe the reviews on this web site and tripadvisor. The savings in cost are not worth it unless you know there will be no chance of canceling. Cancellation policy is not forgiving at all. Need to cancel within 30 days but didn't adequately inform me of that when I made a reservation within 5 days of the date of arrival. Called within seconds to cancel and they wouldn't let me. I'm being charged $200 for nothing.

This Knights Inn needs remodeling; it's very rundown and it needs to be cleaned up. Better lighting in the parking lot, too, would be nice. The bathtub/shower was very old and needs an upgrade. We only paid $60 for our stay and I don't think it was worth that price.

The South Bend Knights Inn was the worst of the chain I have stayed in. Syracuse, New York is the best.
