Knights Inn Corbin Hotel - Page 1

The staff was polite, the pool area was nice. The rooms need a good cleaning and some updates are needed. We were on our way to Gatlinburg for a family vacation. My 7 year old nephew opened a drawer to find some x rated trash. The rooms had a odor and were very outdated. My family would not stay here again.

It was an enjoyable stay, with a friendly staff. It could have been a little cleaner. The pool was nice and it had some toys for the kids.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They brought us extra pillows when we asked for them. They also gave us directions and information about local sites.

My room had a loud heating/cooling element that rattled loudly and I did not sleep well at all. There was no cell phone tower near enough to send or receive calls. The curtains did not close all the way and had to use paper clips to close them. The free continental breakfast was very good.

The rooms were not what they appeared like on the website. My room was filthy and disgusting, It was as if someone lit a dozen of cigarettes before I walked into my room. The carpet was gross. I told my family to not take off their socks and walk around barefooted in that room. The staff told us about their low pay and hard work load from a very mean boss. It was by far the worst motel I have ever been to.

The rooms weren't very clean, the swimming pool wasn't properly marked as far as the depth of the pool and the water was very cloudy.
