Just do one favor.

Please ask them to look at the room before you pay. i.e. I guarantee you that they are only able to get guests because people reserve over the internet.

When I checked in there was no remote for the T. V. A call to the office advised they may get one out to me the next day.

Overall, the room looked O. K. except for the worn out and dirty easy chair with cuts in both the chair and foot stool, exposing the stuffing. I went to the dining room and was advised it would be open until 8:pm. I went back at 7:20pm and it was closed. The desk advised the only place close that sold food was the gas station three blocks away. When I returned to my room at 8:30pm, I turned on the T. V. and was introduced to an adult-oriented HBO program. I am glad my 10 year old daughter was in the bathroom and I did not have to explain what she might have seen. Because of no remote and the semi-darkness in the room I was not able to find the channel change button so I pulled the plug on the T.V.

I was in Las Vegas to attend a funeral of a family member and this overall experience added tremendously to the stress I was already experiencing.

First of all, here is some information that we hope will be helpful to others. This hotel use to be 2 hotels (Knights Inn and Howard Johnson), one behind each other between Paradise and Swenson Streets, making the website pics seem deceiving when you get there. The pic one sees on their website is of the original KI. They use the old HJ's front desk and lobby off of Paradise. We checked this hotel's reviews the week before we left, so we weren't expecting much, kept in mind that this is a 2-star hotel.

Our 3-night stay(Nov2-5): We stayed in a king bed room, which was on second floor of the original K.I. Our room was clean and no bugs anywhere. There wasn't a remote, but didn't come to Vegas to watch TV anyway; no alarm clock either, but brought our own; the shower head was a bit low. We used the shuttle service a couple of times without too much waiting/problems. 2/3 of the desk people we dealt with were polite. The breakfasts we had at the on-sight café were delicious. It was a get-what-you-pay-for place. Overall, our stay was fine.

shakey, ok for 1-2 nites.stayed 11/10/06. stayed 1 nite. hard to find, located behind haward johnsons on paradise (south end), right at airport. door lock didn't work properly. staff ok, asked for late checkout had to call back in morning.

I am not likely to return to the Knights Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.
