Knights Inn Motel - Page 1

Room was clean, but beds were very uncomfortable. Electrical plug in bathroom didn't work, hence neither did the hair dryer. Fridge worked well. Would look for something better next time.

I am a budget traveller and rarely expects nor demands much from motels. I have been all over the country and have had some bad experiences but none beats Knights Inn. This place is a RAT-HOLE (intended). Everything nasty you can say about a motel fits this place. They cheat about their services: no free newspaper, sitting area is two hard chairs in approx 300-sf room that also includes the reception, back room, dining room,etc., no business center, miserable breakfast (sunkist and and cheapest/tasteless bread anywhere), no pool that is proudly pictured in their Orbitz profile.

The room stank real bad. We were worried of walking barefeet because the carpet was so greasy. The faucet creaked let a loud throbbing sound as the water trickled or poured inconsistently. The shower water temperature was incontrollable - could scold you one moment and freeze you the next second.

For $90, you are better off sleeping in the car and paying to take a shower at the truck stop. If you can afford it,pay a few more dollars for a better place. Please don't stay in this motel or you will regret it!

The most disgusting thing is there are some reviewers on this forum probably related to or are Knights Inn proprietors masquerading as guests and offering glowing reviews. By their words, thy shall know them! No human being can perceive this hotel as decent.

They cancelled my reservation 3 days before my vacation and insisted I was the only person who can cancel it. They offered me to rebook the room at $190 instead of $79 and was not willing to refund me the price difference. I had to search another hotel to stay because I didn't trust them!!!

It is the most horrible experience!! Stay away from it!!!

building looks old, but rooms are clean and friendly nice and at affordable rate
