58 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

After spending the week at better hotels/inns, I was a bit taken back at the menities/service. The desk help wasn't "polished", the rooms were "old" and there was no clock radio (apparently, the clerk said that they rely on wake-up calls). My wireless internet couldn't connect due to a weak signal. But they printed my boarding pass from the office. The "residents" were questionable (I ensured no valuables were left in the car, overnight). The usual "traveler" might be forewarned. Otherwise, the price was right (except, the $79 specials were all gone at an early hour) at $89/night. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! It may be worth a try

33 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

we stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and everything was great.

room was very clean with new carpets and nice furnitures. everything worked great and the best thing was free parking and free wireless internet. other places charged us for $18 extra for each night's parking and didn't even have the internet, but it was all FREE at this place - how great is that! this place saved us a lot of money and was very nice. great service, too. this place is close to everything we wanted to see - right in the middle of downtown.

The value was good for the price and the location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Kings Inn Seattle.
I might recommend it to friends.

60 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Checking in before dinner, we noticed the carpets were dirty and the furnishings shoddy, but it was cheap and close to town. Then, at 11pm, all the lights, fan etc in the bathroom failed. It was not fixed by morning. The clerk said it was the circuit breakers, but when he tried to fix it, we lost the lights and TV in the main room. No showers. When the clerk said there was nothing else he could do, we asked him, and later the manager, for a full or partial refund. They said "no", and the manager stonewalled any further talk.

There are many reasons why this motel is cheap. Avoid it at all costs. There are far better motels nearby for $10 more. Date of stay: 20-21 March, 2007.
