The room was very nice but the TRAIN! It comes by every 30 minutes and more often at times all night long blowing its whistle or horn ... Every time I dozed off to sleep, here came the train blowing its horn and would just jar me...

Credit card machine not working causing delays. Key card machine not working. Manager had to let us into our room with a key, then we had to wait for a key card. Elderly couple in next room could not get their key card working. No water in swimming pool. Only cold cereal and broken bits of sweet rolls for breakfast, and no where to sit in the tiny room provided. Overpriced compared to several other Best Western inns that provided comfortable rooms, good pools for the grandchildren, good hot breakfasts and friendly service during the same trip. Find another motel.

I am somewhat likely
to return to the King's House Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

This motel is located 200 feet from a RR track and you will have trains and train horns going every 15 minutes, all day, all night.
If you love trains and are an insomniac you'll love it! If not.... Then stay away.

The desk attendant was VERY rude. We ended up going elsewhere because it was obvious they did not want us with a coupon. My policy, if I owned a hotel, would be to fill my rooms. I guess they were more concerned with making big bucks than making...
