40 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for business

The room was nice and large, but the carpets were dirty and the bathroom shower and bathtub were in bad condition.

I am not likely to return to the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I will never go to this dump ever again. The toilet didn't work, the AC didn't work. In other rooms I visited, there were at least two things that did not work. The carpets were dirty and the maids didn't even clean anything.

I walked into this hotel and saw complete dirtiness. The carpets hadn't been cleaned in ages. My room's plumbing was not up to par and the beds were very uncomfortable. I'm sure you can find a better two star hotel than this one.

It was a nice location, by Kailua pier, and sandy beach. The old airport beach was easy walking to Ali's drive, a quick bike ride or drive to Honokohau harbor for fishing charter boats. The Champaign brunch at the King Kam on Sundays was a must do. A Hawaiian style, not chain hotel, that still had the Aloha Spirit.

I am very likely to return to the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
