'Step into the past and feel the history around you.' The King George Inn is a 200 year old Charleston Historic House located in the heart of the Historic District. The Inn is the Historic Peter Freneau House. A Federal style house, four stories tall with three levels of lovely Charleston porches. All rooms have decorative fireplaces, 10'-12' ceilings and 7' windows. All rooms have original wideplanked hardwood floors, architectural moldings and details and antiques.

Beautiful rooms, antiques, quaint. Nice porches. Great four poster beds, fireplaces. Liked having a mini fridge in the room for a bottle of wine, etc. Great location. Parking in the courtyard was a little tight.
