We stayed at K.R. for a month Nov./Dec. '06. We had a first-floor 1 & 1 away from S. Kihei Rd. and the parking lot. The unit was well-maintained and had all the basics. We chose to go down to the Sal Army store and buy a little Foreman grill, which we left. The flowers and birds were beautiful. The tiny beach (Kalepolepo) is just 4 minutes across the street, as is the Menehune (Hawaiian Little People) Hotel. Yorman's drinks are very reasonable from 3 to 6. The food is expensive, even on 2-for-one Tuesdays. Breakfasts were $5. With discounts and taxes, the total per day was $92, not bad at all. We're looking at buying a unit in this resort. Try it, you'll like it.
