Wow, this was really beyond our imagination... Key West is really a paradise and so is Key Lime Inn. With the tiny cottages and the beautiful pool this is really a hotel to come back to. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast, but I think this is common in the U.S. It really differs from Europe.

My now husband and myself decided to get married in Key West since I wanted a beach wedding in January! My wedding coordinator from Key West suggested staying downtown where everything is, at an Inn. I asked if she recommended any specific, since...

Good
Beautiful place. Rooms are small but well laid out and very tastefully furnished. It would have been much nicer to have a towel rack by the sink, a soap dish, and a hook on the back of the bathroom door. Other than that, very comfortable, staff...

We stayed at Key Lime Inn for three nights in aug 2007 and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The initial welcoming was not pleasant but the staff became more friendly over time - although we did not see or need them that much. We received a continental breakfast included, which was appreciated. Why 7 out of 10? The rooms are of good size and the architecture of the hotel is in line with Key West architectural features. Free parking and convenient location coupled with nice athomsphere and free breakfast made us happy. The rooster did not disturb us. What did was the hard bed that was unaturally high placed making it almost akward to get up and down from it. In the best of worlds the hotel would be located closer to Duval St, but distance was fine (just hot to walk in august). Great hotel and we recommend it!

I was not sure of what to expect but the Key LIme Inn was a most pleasant surprise. We had our own little bungalow with lots of privacy. The room and linens were immaculate! The pool area was very nice and the staff so helpful! The walk to Mallory...

Loved this place and our trip to Key West. The hotel is an easy walk to everything in town. Our room was really clean and comfortable. The place is relaxed and casual, and full of Key West ambiance and history. We stayed in a cottage that had a little porch outside, and a flat screen TV in the room. I was able to use my laptop by the pool and send pictures of us floating in the pool under the palm trees. This is one of the few small inns that has plenty of parking. Since we flew into Miami and drove down to the Keys, parking was necessary for us. Staying in Old Town and walking around town is definately the way to go in Key West. Key Lime Inn is a really good choice.
