The Kaua'i Marriott is like any other Marriott - exceptionally clean; excellent service; and beautifully decorated rooms. This Marriott Resort in Kaua'i is a little dated though. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The king mattress on our bed was not of the high Marriott standard we are accustomed too. The kitchenette area in the suite portion was definitely an after thought, basically a wet bar with a small fridge, tiny microwave and mini dishwasher below. This was a hotel converted into a the current resort so they obviously worked with what was already there. We are accustomed to the beautiful kitchens Marriott resorts are known for. But we made do.

The pool and beach are were fantastic. Not too busy and a great view of the cruise ships coming and going into the bay.

The restaurants and bars were a little pricey but we expected that in Hawaii.

I recommend renting a car from the one site Hertz office. It is much too quite and isolated to stay and entire week at this resort. You really need to get out and explore this fascinating and beautiful island.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We stayed in this resort twice and will go back any time we visit Kauai. It is centrally located, connects to four reasonably priced restaurants, has

a great beach and a beautiful pool area. The hotel is lobby and public areas

are an outdoor garden. We have stayed at and visited some of the most

exclusive hotels and resorts in Hawaii and the Caribbean and the Kauai Marriott is one of the best. You won't be disappointed here.

I read many negative reviews about this resort! I can't believe these people were not satisfied with paradise! Take it from someone who has traveled extensively! I took my mom on her "dream vacation" who rarely travels, what a breath of fresh air! Appreciation goes a long way! Our travel time was the last week in May 07. I did not experience any of the things listed on other blogs. I could have given it a nine because they had odor due to painting projects in our hall but quite frankly, I'd rather see them painting and caring about maintenance than letting it go! We never witnessed a person painting either just saw the blue tape around light fixtures and could smell fresh paint when passing down the hall (not in our room). This shows the integrity of the hotel! I'm writing this to urge people to focus outward on what is right instead what is wrong with people, things or circumstances! Face it, sometimes things are out of our control! It's not all about you! Grow up! Go vent on someone who cares like your self serving

shallow friends not on a blog that should be useful to others.

They gave us lovely honeymoon upgrades. They had a great pool! It was a nice beach location within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It is a fantastic resort, which has all the amenities and the services and, except for the fact that it costs more than two hundred dollars than per night, I would stay at more often and a lot longer.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They were very responsive and courteous at all times. All the personnel was very helpful. The food was excellent.

I am very likely to return to the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
