55 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I was given a room on the ground level with an outside entrance. The weather was cold (single digits). The metal door to the outdoors radiated the cold and wind whistled through the frame. I had to turn the heat up to 90 degrees all night to counteract the cold seeping into the room. If the hotel were full, I could have accepted this. However, the hotel was definitely not full. Marriott needs to remove such rooms from their inventory or only use them as a last resort due to overbooking. I will NEVER stay here again. The clerk at the front desk had no reaction when I explained how bad the room was. Marriott standards? A thing of the past.
