48 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
My wife and I made a New Year's getaway at the last minute and went up to Orcas Island from Seattle. We found the Kangaroo House online and thought it looked cozy and inviting with the big fireplace, wooden architecture and such. It was that, and the owners Jill and Charles were real sweethearts. They welcomed us, got a big fire going and made us feel right at home. The pix on their website don't do the 100 year old farmhouse house justice. We made reservations to come back with our friends in the Spring. Great breakfasts, clean rooms, nice owners, and a gorgous setting. We recommend it!
