Resort met all our expectations. Best slope side we have ever had - just hopped the patio railing to be right on the lift because we were on first floor. Good hot tub - excellent service.

Okay
Beautiful lodge with nicely furnished rooms and suites, many with terrific views of nearby mountains. Located at the base of Mammoth Mountain with a chairlift within walking distance. Good for large family gatherings. Well stocked kitchens. Kids...
Our room was right above the shuttle bus stop. The rooms are small and we had to keep the windows open which meant that we had to listen to the buses come and go every 15 minutes! Not only that, we had to smell the fumes as well.

It was very noisy. Our room was on the second floor and the shuttle buses stopped every 15 minutes right under our windows. The rooms are very small they have no air conditioning, so it was necessary to keep the windows open. We listed to the buses starting from 8:00 a.m. to midnight! We also had to inhale the exhaust. We also had to carry our bags to our room because the bellman never showed up.
When we complained to the manager upon checking out, we were told that we should have asked for a quiet room when we checked in. I never knew that hotels don't think a good night's sleep is expected unless the guests specifically ask for it!
Too bad because this lodge has a great location, but we won't stay here again. They have very bad service and poor attitude.
