30 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The gentleman at the desk when we checked in was a little on the loopy side with constant chatting and lots of jokes, but he was funny so it was no big deal. The hotel was amazingly clean and comfortable for such a great price and so convenient to our friend's apartment and the marina! We slept very well and my husband usually has trouble sleeping in an unfamiliar bed.
The lighting was just right, the bed mattress was very comfortable, the air conditioning was just right and there was not too much noise outside our room or the hotel. The water pressure was good for bathing, too, and our privacy was respected.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Jolly Roger Hotel.

50 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
After 20 hours of no internet service, which was a prime reason for booking here, the desk man called me an idiot and threatened me with violence for asking him if there was any effort under way to correct the problem. Also, the hotel is filthy, with stained toilets and old beds. A nightmare. And staff gets angry at being asked for a refund so that the customer can move to another motel. Jolly Roger in marina del Rey is a nightmare - mean, dirty and dangerous.
