Built in 1772, the jailhouse Inn is a restored colonial jail, centrally located in the heart of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. This building is Newport's former jail as the name suggests. It is a beautiful gracious building despite its pedigree. Locate near the shops and not too far from the harbour, this is far from the mansions.
