Beautifully appointed rooms and countless amenities make Jaguar Paw one of Belize's most desired travel destinations. Built in 1993, the stunning architecture and charming surroundings earned Jaguar Paw a top-five rating by Belize First Magazine and a "Best Hotel Bet" in Belize by Frommers. Jaguar Paw has been prominently featured by Forbes Magazine, the Today Show, The New York Times, MSNBC ("Six shore excursions that say Wow!"), AOL ("ABC's of Belize") and the FOX reality show Temptation Island.
Centrally located at the Cave's Branch River, Jaguar Paw is a short walk to many area attractions including cave tubing on the Cave's Branch River system or the Crystal Caves - rock-climbing and rappelling - zip-lining through the jungle canopy, and so much more. In fact, Jaguar Paw was the first in Belize to offer River Cave Tubing through awesome caves that are located directly on the premises.
Official Hotel Information
Jaguar Paw is a unique upscale resort on 200 acres of pristine rainforest located in the foothills of the Maya mountains and situated on the edge of the Caves Branch River. Opening out on the river is the last of a series of caves that begin miles inland in the same proximity as the famous Blue Hole National Park. We have a full service restaurant and bar. In addition to that we have an extra dining area outdoors with French windows floor to ceiling all the way around with no walls giving it a green house effect. This area seats 24 and is used to view movies and listen to our Mayan harpist in the evening. We have a swimming pool which is about 50 yards from the outside dining area and is nestled at the foot of a hill surrounded by lush jungle. We also have a butterfly farm and an Aviary just passed the pool. Jaguar paw resort has two cave systems. One is made of spring water and has many formations while the other has a river flowing through it, both just a few minutes away.
