The hotel had very poor service in the restaurant. They were extremely slow, sometimes taking two hours for dinner. Otherwise, the hotel was wonderful and I would stay at Marriott hotels in the future!
This hotel made me feel comfortable: The beds were very warm and cozy. There were plenty of pillows, so the room made me feel at home.

It was easy to get to from the airport, and the staff was friendly. But getting a taxi to take me to my meeting was difficult (they made me share a ride with another passenger that was not on my way and made me late).

There are very few restaurants nearby within walking distance, but the hotels in the area have a good selection. The Marriott in Jacksonville has a very small lounge, but it's still a very nice hotel.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable. The beds are nice, as are the showers.

We stayed after Hurricane Katrina when our house was without power and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and to take care of us. The hotel is also well-located right on the waterway with a nice pool.
This hotel made me feel welcome: Even though they had just gotten their power back and the restaurant was not open, they put together sandwiches and a barbeque with cold drinks and fed us all at no cost. It was really above and beyond service.

We arrived with a flat tire, and the front desk staff was just excellent at finding a place for us to get it fixed. I liked the very comfortable bed, but the two chairs in the room were old and squeaked when you sat down on them. For the price charged, they definitely should have updated the room a little more. The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location, with a water taxi right next to it.
This hotel made me feel welcome: They were very friendly, informative and professional upon check-in, and information was provided about what was available on the property. Jugs of iced lemon water available in the lobby were very appreciated.
