42 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
There’s a fine 4 star Hotel in Agadir, it’s a bit away from the beach, but a lifetime away in quality and value from the beach strip hotels and restaurants. We stayed there in September 2006 and would love to go back as soon as we can.
The food is absolutely fantastic, chosen from a menu of worldwide and Moroccan favorite dishes, by French trained Moroccan chefs de cuisine, so you can eat what you like, not what a buffet happens to offer. They also have a grand clean pool set in magnificent and extensive gardens, and delightful carefully planned rooms in Kasbah style buildings.
About two miles out of Agadir's sometimes over-touristy centre, turn right after the Royal Palace and Jacaranda is 200 meters on left beside the artisans Medina d'Agadir (a major tourism attraction, with visitors being bussed by the tour operators) for a wonderful holiday, and we were very happy with the price also.
