The quality was exceptional. I was attending a conference, so the room rates were highly discounted. Since most of my time was spent in conference, I had little opportunity to experience all of the amenities that the hotel had to offer, apart from one meal the night that I checked in and drinks with colleagues the first night of the conference, after a hosted dinner. The rooms were large and very comfortable. I wish that I had had the time to try the pool, etc. The setting, in the hills above Tucson, was especially scenic and the hotel blended well into the desert hills.
This hotel made me feel comfortable: Hotel beds and pillows are not always the best. I had a very good sleep both nights while staying in Tucson. On my previous business trip, my hotel room, not a Marriott hotel, was very small, for virtually the same price, so I was very pleased by the size of the room. The bathroom felt as large as the previous hotel room. I very much liked the shower set-up and wished that I had had time to enjoy the spa bathtub.
