JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa Resort - Page 2

The JW Marriott Desert Ridge hotel in Phoenix is a first class resort. The meeting rooms and the food service are excellent. It was the second year we have used this resort for our annual meeting. The guest rooms are well appointed and clean. The pool area and the grounds are kept in first class condition. The resort has an excellent and challenging desert golf course available to guests. I would highly recommend this resort for business or pleasure.

It had a helpful staff. We asked for a cigar shop, and they were able to direct us to one immediately. Our breakfast was delivered to our door incorrectly, but was corrected immediately, and we were not charged for it.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: Being able to sit in the hot tub and then take a swim in the pool was refreshing. The patio that was outside of our patio door was a great place to sit and watch the scenery.

Desert Ridge offered many amenities. The staff was exceptional. This was a family holiday gathering and the stay was enjoyed by everyone. I must add however that I believe the Camelback location had more to offer our grandchildren during our last holiday at a Marriott in Arizona in terms of activities and play areas. We also appreciated the ease of parking our cars directly adjacent to our rooms.

This hotel made me feel important: The Marriott staff was very attentive. The accommodations, especially the bathrooms, exceeded expectations.

The hotel was wonderful. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The amenities of the hotel were much more than anticipated.

This hotel made me feel secure: I was placed close to an exit. At the beginning of my stay, I was given a plan of the hotel and was shown how to maneuver throughout. Although the hotel was very large, the hotel personnel were throughout the floors.

In all my travels this was the most accommodating hotel that I have stayed in.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: Every thing that I asked for was given very promptly.

I love the heated pool! There were no dry towels out though, so I froze when I ran back to my room! It had really nice service and friendly shuttle drivers.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: They had classy decorations.

Everything was fine. It was a very enjoyable stay.

I enjoyed my stay at the resort. It was very clean and comfortable. It's out on the edge of town and there are limited shopping sites within walking distance. I would recommend staying there. The food was outstanding.

This hotel made me feel important: Upon arrival, you're greeted at the door by a professional, courteous staff. The front desk was very helpful and called you by name. They gave you the feeling that you are valued by them and they wanted to deliver the best service possible.

I loved this place. The room was warm and cozy. The lobby was nice and it was in a good location, too.

The location is very nice. It was not that far for me to get back to downtown to take in the baseball game the afternoon of my arrival. It is also well placed for other amenities around the Phoenix area, including casinos and Cardinal Stadium for NFL football.

This hotel made me feel pampered: All wait staff were very attentive and knowledgeable.

The hotel provided great amenities and wonderful service. The restaurants had overly long waits.

They offered typical good Marriott service.

The location was wonderful. The hotel provided iced-tea and lemon water at the main entrance. The workout room was the equivalent of a small gym. The pools were fabulous. I felt as though I was pampered the entire stay. It is a hotel that I would stay in again. I have recommended the location to friends.

The accommodations were adequate but the noise level was disturbing to say the least. Not everyone who travels likes to stay up all night drinking and laughing and playing loud music outdoors, and that was the hotels idea!
